As a tribute to our dear friend and colleague, Mike Moran (September 1, 1939 – November 7, 2022), who recently passed away, ECOS 2023 will award one outstanding paper, presented at the conference, based on the following criteria:
The selection will be made by the International Scientific Committee after nomination by the reviewers.
The Best Paper Award is given for the paper judged to make the most significant contribution to Innovative Energy Solutions in Islands.

The ECOS INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY will award the best poster at the conference.
The award criteria will be as follows:
To be considered for the prize, the poster must be presented by the corresponding author during the poster session of the Conference.
